Charles Ferguson, Managing Director Charles is a co-founder of Pure Recruitment Group. He specialises in recruiting senior level tax professionals across the banking, practice and commercial sectors. Charles has 18 years’ experience undertaking executive search and selection assignments at partner, director and senior management levels. He has also managed numerous high-profile recruitment marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients. Charles graduated from Southampton University in 1987 and, after a short spell training in audit, began his career in executive recruitment. As well as spending time with his family, Charles enjoys rugby and cricket from the safety of the stands or armchair. He regularly goes to the theatre and enjoys London’s excellent restaurants. Chris Nelson, Managing Director Chris established Pure Recruitment Group in 1999 and has a leading reputation in tax recruitment. He has been responsible for some of the highest profile and most senior moves in the last decade.  Specifically Chris handles partner and team moves in the profession and director level assignments in commerce and banking. Chris spent his early career with Arthur Andersen as a tax consultant in their London office after reading Law at Leeds University. Matthew Champkin, Manager Matthew specialises in recruiting corporate tax specialists from newly qualified up to director level for the major professional practice firms in the general corporate, M&A, FTSE and dynamic markets teams. Prior to joining Pure, Matthew worked at BDO Stoy Hayward, where he gained his ACA qualification and spent four years in audit. He then moved into finance director recruitment for clients of BDO Stoy Hayward, before leaving to join the team at Pure. Matthew is one of the company's enclave of cricket enthusiasts. Hu Kabir, Executive Consultant Hu joined Pure in October 2003 and specialises in recruiting senior tax professionals and partners, into firms of accountants in London and the regions. He tackles assignments in corporate tax, private client, transfer pricing, VAT and OMB tax and has a particular focus on recruiting into firms outside the Big Four. Hu is a qualified tax technician and has two and a half years’ corporate tax experience at Grant Thornton. Anouschka Walker, Consultant Anouschka specialises in recruiting newly qualified tax professionals into large professional services firms. Formerly a consultant with Ernst & Young specialising in offshore private client work, Anouschka then moved in recruitment where she has gained three years experience specialising in accounting and finance in the Channel Islands before moving to London and specialising in tax for an international recruitment consultancy. Mark Pryor, Director Mark joined Pure Recruitment Group in 2000. Ewen Burns, Manager Ewen focuses on recruiting manager through to head of tax positions across all sectors of the tax market. Since joining in 2002, Ewen has built strong relationships with an extensive number of FTSE, financial services and overseas organisations. Ewen joined Pure as a qualified tax adviser with a wealth of corporate tax experience gained from four years at KPMG. Paul Murphy, Executive Consultant Paul works in the Commerce team and specialises in recruiting from Senior Manager to Head of Tax. Since joining Pure in 2005, Paul has successfully recruited for a number of leading companies and has established relationships with companies within the FTSE 100, 250 and overseas multinationals. Paul trained in tax at KPMG in London and followed this with an in-house tax role at Reckitt Benkiser plc, before joining Pure. He read Law at Hull University and graduated with a 2:1 honours degree. Andrew Vinell, Consultant Andrew specialises in recruiting corporate tax specialists from newly qualified level to senior manager into tax commerce roles. Andrew trained in tax at KPMG in London before moving into a tax commerce role at the financial services arm of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati & Ferrari. He then moved to another tax commerce role at Saacthi & Saatchi. Andrew’s final role prior to joining Pure was Tax Manager at Ernst & Young. Andrew graduated with a 2:1 in English and European Laws which involved spending a year specialising in European Law at the University of Nijmegan in the Netherlands. Eylem Emiroglu, Consultant Eylem is a key member of our Tax practise, specialising in the placement of Tax professionals across commerce and industry. Before joining Pure Recruitment, Eylem worked for the PSD Group, which is the parent company of Odgers & Hoggett Bowers, where, she gained significant experience in the finance and treasury arena. Now working in tax, Eylem brings a wealth of commercial experience while she continues to work closely with the FTSE250 and SMEs. Andrew joined Pure following 3 years with a multinational FTSE consultancy in London. He is renowned for his strong client relationships and independent, considered career advice to senior candidates. Dalia Greenwood, Manager Dalia heads up the interim team and has worked at Pure Recruitment Group since 2004.
