Mark Pryor, Director, Treasury

Mark specialises in recruiting senior managers through to head of department positions into listed multinationals, investment banks and leading financial institutions. As a director of Pure, he is responsible for the commerce and industry team, and has nearly ten years’ experience in executive recruitment. Mark also has considerable experience of recruiting positions throughout Europe. Prior to joining Pure, Mark spent nearly five years at Michael Page International as manager of the commerce tax business.

He entered into chartered accounting training with a firm in Birmingham, specialising in audit and business advisory, having graduated from Bristol with a degree in Accounting and Finance.

Mark plays football for IBIS FC and tries to spend as much time as possible trying to get his golf handicap down.

Waheed Akbar, Manager

Waheed is responsible for expanding our finance and treasury search practice, specialising in the placement of senior managers, controllers and directors.  Waheed has spent his entire career working in the finance recruitment field, during which time he has developed a remarkably strong network of contacts.

Prior to joining Pure, Waheed worked as a head-hunter for Alexander Mann Ltd and as a finance search specialist on behalf of recognised plcs and smaller organisations. Waheed graduated in Economics & Management from Cardiff University.

He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of modern football and is a passionate fan of Liverpool FC.

Andrew Refausse, Executive Consultant

Andrew works within our finance search function, focusing on the financial services arena. He specialises in the delivery of of commercial finance heads and Treasury individuals into sub-divisions spanning Consumer and Investment products, private banks and Insurance companies. Andrew has 8 years in executive search and has delivered on assignments globally, mirroring his client base.

Having spent his first three years in recruitment with a boutique search firm, he joined a leading international recruiter, where he headed the senior finance desk into financial services in London.

Andrew graduated in Management Studies and Psychology from Leeds University.

Rupert Jupp, Executive Consultant

Rupert has been recruiting at the middle and senior management level within treasury and finance for over seven years. After two years at Robert Walters where he focussed on corporate treasury assignments, Rupert joined Imprint Plc to establish the corporate treasury division. During this time he broadened his network, working with senior finance professionals typically across the FMCG, Retail and Food Services industries.

After five years working in the UK market Rupert successfully established a commerce division in Hong
Kong and then Tokyo for Imprint Plc, before returning to the UK market to monopolise on his network of treasury and commerce professionals working at the senior level.

Rupert plays regular 5-aside football and enjoys travelling across Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe.

Kate Ingram, Executive Consultant

Kate operates within the finance search arena, specialising in the placements of senior finance controllers and directors. She focuses on the IT/Telco sector therein making her a specialist within this area of the market.

While working for a well recognized financial recruitment company in London, Kate gained extensive experience in financial recruitment and has successfully delivered on a number of key senior finance campaigns in a variety of different sectors. She holds a Bachelors degree in English Literature, from the University of British Columbia.

Kate spends a lot of her time outside work travelling and enjoys cooking. She was also a national level swimmer in her native Canada and competed in the 1996 Canadian Olympic Trials.
